ดนี้สร้างขึ้นในสมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยาตอนกลาง โดยมีหลักฐานสำคัญคือพระพุทธรูปหินทราย และใบพัทธสีมาคู่ที่ทำจากหินทราย ด้านหลังของโบสถ์พบเจดีย์ดินเก่าแก่ทรงระฆังคว่ำ ที่มีอายุหลายร้อยปีคาดว่าน่าจะมีอายุใกล้เคียงกับวัด และอีกหนึ่งที่สำคัญคือ พระพุทธสีหไสยยาสน์ เป็นพระพุทธรูปปางไสยาสน์ มีขนาด 19 วา 2 ศอก 9 นิ้ว สร้างเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2554 ซึ่งป็นพระพุทธรูปนอนองค์ที่ยาวที่สุดในจังหวัดนครนายก

อ่านว่า วัด-เล-ขะ-ทำ-มะ-กิต สันนิษฐานว่าวัดนี้สร้างมาตั้งแต่สมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 อายุประมาณ 151 ปี โบราณสถานแห่งนี้ได้พบมานานแล้ว แต่เป็นที่รู้จักเมื่อ 2 ปีก่อนเนื่องจากมีพระลูกวัดท่านหนึ่งมาพบเห็นและถ่ายภาพลงโซเชี่ยลมีเดีย ทำให้มีผู้คนเข้ามาชมความงามเป็นจำนวนมาก ทางวัดจึงได้ทำการปรับปรุงพื้นที่โดยรอบเพื่อให้สะดวกแก่การเข้าไปกราบไหว้พระและชมความงามของโบสถ์กัน พระท่านแนะนำว่า วิธีการขอพรที่นี้คือให้อธิฐานจิตแล้วเดินลอดเข้าไปที่ประตูโบสถ์ปรกโพธิ์ เพื่อเป็นสิริมงคล โดยที่นี้ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ในเรื่องสุขภาพ กับเรื่องการงาน ส่วนพระประธานองค์เก่าตอนนี้ประดิษฐานอยู่ภายในโบสถ์หลังใหม่ ซึ่งจะเปิดให้เราได้เข้าไปสักการะเฉพาะวันเสาร์-อาทิตย์
