SAWASDEE by AOT summarizes the updated regulations effective in 2025, along with practical tips to help you pack liquids correctly, pass security screening smoothly, and travel with peace of mind from check-in to arrival.
Container Size
Each container carrying liquids must not exceed 100 milliliters (ml) or 3.4 ounces (oz), and the volume must be clearly labeled on the packaging.
Even if the liquid inside is less than 100 ml, you cannot bring it on board if the container itself is larger than the permitted size.
Total Quantity
There is no limit to the number of containers you can carry, but the total combined volume must not exceed 1,000 milliliters (1 liter) per passenger.
How to Pack
All containers must be placed together in a clear, resealable plastic bag no larger than 20 x 20 cm.
Each container should be clearly labeled with the type of liquid, and must be easy to remove for inspection at the security checkpoint.
Liquids Not Allowed on Board
Examples of Liquids That Are Exempted
1. Baby milk or food
Allowed when traveling with an infant, in a quantity that is reasonable for the duration of the flight.
