DoiTung is a social enterprise brand of
the Doi Tung Development Project
that has transformed the disadvantaged into proud and
skilled craftsmen, illicit earnings into legitimate livelihood,
and denuded mountains into abundant forests.

Handwoven Textiles: the “Today’s fashion for future” concept, the new generation of designers have crafted refined DoiTung products
made from handwoven fabrics by Doi Tung artisans. Fully adopting the zero waste pattern cutting method,
the products keep their signature of beautiful gradient check pattern, as well as soft lightweight texture; while staying true to sustainability.
The making – from designing to weaving and cutting – is designed to cause as less waste as possible.

Ceramics: The Doi Tung Development Project’s goal is to nurture the forests as well as the potential of the people.
Many of those who were once farmers and laborers have undergone training and are now skilled potters.
Combined with folklore, creativity and imagination,
DoiTung ceramics now provide a sustainable livelihood for the community’s younger generation.
