The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has issued measures that will be enforced starting from January 16, 2024

Identification Documents for Thai Passengers
3.Identity Verification Document for Domestic Flight Passengers used in conjunction with the Boarding Pass for Thai nationality passengers
For Thai passengers under 7 years old Acceptable documents:

4.Thai National Passengers who have lost or forgotten their identity verification document must provide what evidence to verify their identity for domestic travel.
Alternatively, a police report filed within 7 days from the date of filing, along with an ID card (original) or a copy of the ID card or a photograph of the ID card issued by a government agency, which includes the passenger's face and the 13-digit ID card number.
Identification Documents for Non-Thai Passengers
5.Identity Verification Document for Domestic Flight Passengers used in along with the Boarding Pass for foreign nationality passengers.
6. Non-Thai passengers traveling on domestic flights lose or are unable to present their identification documents, they must provide one of the following documents
7. Change of Name - Surname: Please exercise caution!!!
Anyone who has changed their name or surname should verify that the name and surname on the identification document issued by a government agency match the Boarding Pass before traveling each time.
Remark:
1. If the names do not match, the airline has the right to deny access to the airport and travel.
2. If the name on the Boarding Pass does not match the identification document, please contact the airline (there may be associated fees).
